Welcome to our proposal for Hollins Lane Dog Field

We have now submitted a full planning application to Sheffield City Council.

In the meantime, we’ve been asked so many questions about what we have planned—what exactly is a private hire dog field, and what will it look like? To help, we’ve set up this website, along with Facebook and Instagram pages, to answer your questions, take suggestions, and keep you updated on progress, ideas, and news.

More than Just a field

At Hollins Lane Dog Field, we believe that dog fields should be more than just sterile grass patches.

The plans for the field include a grassed area, with dog tunnels, a natural stone circle, mounds, and logs—an area where your dog can run and play, as well as a great space for training. The southern section of the field will be full of native shrubs and newly planted trees, with long meadow grass, creating a space where your dog can sniff and explore nature.

A video fly-by and 3D model of the field can be seen on our 'Planning Application Visuals' page.
